Harness and equipment inspection.
We check, tag and record your height safety gear to AS/NZS 1891.4, so your team can get on the roof.
Gear wears out where you cannot see it.
Height safety gear wears out in ways you cannot see. Sunlight weakens webbing. Grit works into rope and cuts it from the inside. One shock load can retire an item that still looks new.
AS/NZS 1891.4 says gear must be checked by a competent person at set intervals. That sits on top of the check the user does before every job. Without current records, a main contractor can turn your people away.

Quick questions.
What safety managers ask before booking us. More on the full FAQ page.
How often does our gear have to be inspected?
The interval comes from AS/NZS 1891.4 and from the manufacturer's instructions, and the shorter of the two applies. That sits on top of the check the user does before every use.
Can you inspect gear you did not supply?
Yes, and most of what we check is not ours. We work to the manufacturer's instructions, so those have to be available. Gear with no manufacturer, serial number or instructions cannot be certified.
What happens to gear that fails?
It is tagged out of service and listed with the reason. If you ask, we will destroy it, so it cannot find its way back into a kit bag.
We are not a rope access company. Can you still help?
Yes. A lot of this work is for building and facility teams, roofers, cladders and other trades whose people go up now and then.
What do we get at the end?
A register listing every item, its serial number, the date done and the date due. Plus a certificate, and a tag on each item.
